About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse position for a Medical-Surgical unit in Atlanta, Georgia. The assignment is temporary, lasting 16 weeks, with a start date of 09/21/2026. The role involves providing direct patient care, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, documenting care in the EPIC system, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. The position is in a hospital setting on a fast-paced Med-Surg unit.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia with Nursys license verification.
Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience.
EPIC electronic medical record experience is required.
Certification card on file (current nursing certifications as applicable).
Ability to work in a hospital setting on a fast-paced Med-Surg unit.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for a medical-surgical patient population, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
Monitor patient conditions, track vital signs, and respond to changes in clinical status.
Administer medications and manage IV therapies in accordance with orders and safety protocols.
Document care and interventions in the EPIC electronic health record with accurate and timely charting.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, discharge planning, patient education, and family communication.
Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and quality-of-care standards throughout the shift.
