About The Position
This is a travel Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located in Lowville, New York. The assignment is for 6 weeks, with a start date of 09/07/2026. The role involves providing comprehensive ICU nursing care for critically ill adults in a hospital setting. Weekly pay is estimated between $2,130–$2,263 for guaranteed 36 hours per week, with night shifts available in 12-hour increments, three times per week.
Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in New York (or eligibility for New York).
- ICU nursing experience preferred for this assignment.
- Ability to work Nights with 12-hour shifts.
- Nursing degree (RN) from an accredited program (ADN or BSN acceptable).
- Must meet onboarding and credentialing requirements for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive ICU nursing care for critically ill adults, including monitoring vital signs, invasive lines, and life-support equipment.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, titrate vasoactive infusions as prescribed, and observe patient responses.
- Perform frequent patient assessments, document care plans, and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other professionals; participate in rounds; respond promptly to emergencies and code events.
- Maintain strict infection control practices, ensure patient safety, and support families with clear, compassionate communications.
