About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The contract is for 13 weeks, starting on September 22, 2026. The role involves working in a hospital's CVOR department within a Hybrid Cath Lab environment, distinct from the General OR. The position offers 38 guaranteed hours per week with a shift schedule of four 10-hour days, including rotating weekends and on-call duties.

Requirements

• Current Colorado RN license or Compact to practice in Colorado
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of high-volume intraoperative CVOR experience
• Ability to scrub and circulate CVOR procedures
• Capacity to work in a hospital CVOR setting, including a Hybrid Cath Lab
• Traveler must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility (radius rule)

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate CVOR cases in a Hybrid Cath Lab setting
• Care for cardiovascular patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Monitor intraoperative patient status; manage hemodynamics and respond to changes
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards; assist with room turnover
• Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and other perioperative staff
• Document perioperative care and ensure accurate charting in the electronic health record
