About The Position

Registered Nurse – Charge Acute Care, travel assignment in Penn Yan, New York. This temporary assignment is through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. The pay rate is estimated between $2,315 to $2,460 per week.

Requirements

• Active New York State RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; Stroke Certification (AHA or RQI) required
• Minimum 1 year of acute hospital RN experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with rotating day/night shifts, including holidays
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care in an emergency care ready setting, including triage, primary assessment, and monitoring of patients across acute care needs
• Administer medications and treatments, observe responses, and escalate changes in patient condition per protocol
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document care accurately, maintain infection prevention practices, and uphold patient safety standards
• Educate patients and families, prepare for procedures, and assist with discharge planning and referrals
