About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) located in Templeton, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 08/31/2026. The role involves providing direct patient care to CCU patients in a hospital environment, working 36 hours per week on a 3x12-hour day shift schedule. Requirements

• Current, active Registered Nurse license in California.
• CCU (critical care) experience or demonstrated ability to work in a high-acuity setting.
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts with a 36-hour weekly schedule.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; reliable and trustworthy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for CCU patients using professional nursing standards.
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care across shifts and disciplines.
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the health care team to optimize outcomes.
• Document findings and interventions accurately, ensuring clear communication within the care team.
• Promote adherence to established Standards of Nursing Practice and participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives.
