About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit (CCU) located in Boston, Massachusetts. The assignment is for 20 weeks, with a start date of 08/24/2026. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts in a hospital setting. Local residents within 50 miles may be paid at a local rate, which is $10 less than the posted bill rate. Requirements

Minimum 2 years of previous critical care experience
Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips; telemetry assessment on day 1
ACLS certification required

Nice To Haves

EPIC experience preferred
CCRN certification preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor patients on cardiac telemetry, interpret rhythm strips, and respond to rhythm changes per unit protocols
Administer medications and support hemodynamic stability for high-acuity cardiac patients
Provide ongoing patient assessment, implement care plans, and document in the electronic health record
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the care team to coordinate care
Maintain strict infection control, patient safety, and comfort, adjusting interventions as patient condition evolves
Adapt to occasional MICU overflow while maintaining high-quality CCU care and appropriate patient ratios (approximately 1:2 or 1:1)
