Requirements

BSN degree required
Cath Lab nursing experience preferred
Ability to work 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and participate in on-call duties as scheduled
Willingness to travel for a 13-week travel assignment and perform duties in a home healthcare setting

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care in the cath lab-adjacent workflow within a home healthcare setting, including pre-procedure and post-procedure activities as applicable.
Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond to adverse events with appropriate interventions.
Administer medications and contrast agents per physician orders, and document care accurately in the patient record.
Maintain sterile technique, assist with procedures, and support the interprofessional team during interventional activities.
Educate patients and family members on procedures, post-care expectations, and safety considerations; ensure smooth transitions of care.
Complete assignment-specific documentation, verify equipment and supplies, and comply with regulatory and agency policies.
Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled and coordinate with the team to ensure continuity of care.
