About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse, Cath Lab assignment in Portland, Oregon. The assignment is for 13 contract weeks with a start date of 09/14/2026. The role is in a hospital-based Cath Lab setting and involves delivering coordinated nursing care, supervising staff, conducting assessments, maintaining sterile technique, communicating with the healthcare team and families, and demonstrating critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in Oregon.
Cath lab nursing experience preferred; strong foundation in acute care nursing.
Current BLS certification; ACLS as appropriate for Cath Lab roles.
ADN or higher degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
Ability to work in a Cath Lab environment with the ability to manage patients during interventional procedures.
Willingness to work a 4x10 schedule and travel assignment requirements.

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for Cath Lab patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
Conduct assessments, develop and execute care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient responses during interventional procedures.
Maintain sterile technique, patient safety, and readiness of equipment and supplies for cath lab procedures.
Communicate clearly with physicians, other members of the interventional team, and patients’ families; document care accurately.
Demonstrate critical thinking and independent judgment in fast-paced procedural environments and respond to changes in patient condition.
