About The Position

Requirements

Licensed RN in the state of practice (current license required)
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in acute care or cath lab/interventional settings
BLS (Basic Life Support) required
ACLS (American Heart Association) or ARC-ALS required
Active RN license and eligibility for licensure in the assignment state
Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional environment and collaborate across disciplines

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients in the cath lab and peri-procedural area, following established standards and the nursing process.
Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned nursing staff; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and implement care.
Perform pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure care; monitor hemodynamic status, patient comfort, and safety during interventional procedures.
Participate in interventional procedures (catheterization, angiography, PCI) as scrub or circulator as appropriate; maintain sterile technique and ensure equipment readiness.
Initiate and manage IV access, administer medications per orders, and monitor responses; assist with sedation/anesthesia as directed.
Support discharge planning and provide patient and family education; contribute to a safe, healing environment and effective care transitions.
