About The Position

This is a traveling assignment for a CT Technologist specializing in CT, based in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The assignment is for 13 weeks, with a start date of 08/24/2026. Requirements

  • ARRT CT certification
  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience
  • Ability to work in a hospital imaging department on a travel assignment
  • Willingness to commit to a 13-week assignment and standard travel scheduling expectations

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging using multi-slice CT scanners, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients, select appropriate protocol, and adjust scanner settings under radiologist guidance
  • Administer contrast media per orders and monitor patients for adverse reactions; ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Verify patient identity, review prior imaging when available, document procedures, and maintain accurate imaging records
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to optimize workflow and patient care
  • Maintain equipment, perform basic troubleshooting, and adhere to ALARA principles and safety protocols
