About The Position

Healthforce is seeking a CT Tech – Radiology Technologist (CT) for a travel assignment in Portland, OR. This is a 13-week contract position in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. The role involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic images, performing related imaging services, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Requirements

ARRT registration in Radiologic Technology with CT (R.T.(R)(CT) or R.T.(R)) – Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy – Required
Minimum 2 years of recent radiology/CT experience
Current nursing license per the state of assignment – Required

Nice To Haves

ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) Advanced Certification – preferred in CA
Venipuncture certification – Preferred
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology preferred

Responsibilities

Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images
Perform CT imaging procedures and related imaging services, including general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed
Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location
Maintain accurate records, files and billing information, ensuring HIPAA and patient confidentiality
Perform routine equipment maintenance and assist with supply inventory; participate in quality control as assigned
