About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Technologist specializing in CT imaging, located in The Dalles, Oregon. The role is within a short-term acute care setting and is a 16-week contract starting on 08/31/2026. The position offers a weekly pay of $2,416 to $2,627 with guaranteed 36 hours per week, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The primary focus is on CT imaging, with the flexibility to perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed in a busy imaging department.

Requirements

  • ARRT – Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required; RT(R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT(R)ARRT acceptable
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • At least two years of recent experience in radiologic imaging
  • Current state license as required by the assignment
  • Ability to work in a high-volume imaging department and adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Advanced Certification in CT required in OR and HI (preferred in CA)
  • Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA and OR
  • Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for radiologist interpretation; generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images as required.
  • Perform a range of imaging procedures, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy, as assigned.
  • Use PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images to the appropriate location and ensure timely interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, files and billing information while safeguarding image data and patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manage supply inventory; ensure equipment readiness for procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure quality, safety and efficiency in imaging services; adapt to patient needs across adolescent to geriatric populations.
