About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Radiology Technologist specializing in CT imaging, located in The Dalles, Oregon. The role is within a short-term acute care setting and is a 16-week contract starting on 08/31/2026. The position offers a weekly pay of $2,416 to $2,627 with guaranteed 36 hours per week, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The primary focus is on CT imaging, with the flexibility to perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed in a busy imaging department.

Requirements

ARRT – Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) required; RT(R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT(R)ARRT acceptable
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
At least two years of recent experience in radiologic imaging
Current state license as required by the assignment
Ability to work in a high-volume imaging department and adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
Advanced Certification in CT required in OR and HI (preferred in CA)
Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA and OR
Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR

Responsibilities

Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for radiologist interpretation; generate sagittal and coronal reformatted images as required.
Perform a range of imaging procedures, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy, as assigned.
Use PACS and teleradiology systems to accurately transfer images to the appropriate location and ensure timely interpretation.
Maintain accurate patient records, files and billing information while safeguarding image data and patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manage supply inventory; ensure equipment readiness for procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure quality, safety and efficiency in imaging services; adapt to patient needs across adolescent to geriatric populations.
