About The Position

CT Technologist (Radiology) needed for a travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. This 13-week contract starts on 08/24/2026 and features a 40-hour work week on an evenings shift (4x10-hour shifts). The role operates within a hospital setting and involves CT imaging as well as general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed. Compensation is paid weekly, with a range of $2,858 to $3,075 per week. Requirements

Active radiology licensure and eligibility to practice in Oregon; ARRT certification in Radiography preferred.
CT certification or ARRT CT eligibility preferred.
Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
Ability to perform CT imaging, general radiography, and fluoroscopy; strong patient-care and safety focus.
Flexibility to work the evening 4x10 schedule and participate in a travel assignment as needed.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs and tissues used for diagnosis.
Perform CT procedures and additional imaging as needed, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
Position patients and adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
Process, label, and review images; ensure accurate documentation and timely communication with radiologists and clinical staff.
Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles; monitor equipment performance and perform basic quality checks.
Provide compassionate patient care, assist with comfort and safety during imaging procedures, and support a collaborative radiology team.
