Travel Nursing Instructor- Southeast Region
About The Position
Kaplan North America is hiring master's-prepared nurses to teach NCLEX preparation classes at locations across the United States, with primary service locations in North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Arkansas. This travel teaching role offers the opportunity to support future nurses as they prepare for the NCLEX. The position is described as a PRN job and requires travel; lead time, locations, and dates are determined by business needs and availability. Instructors teach from Kaplan's existing curriculum and receive paid training and ongoing development to strengthen their teaching, presentation, and mentoring skills. In addition to classroom instruction, instructors may separately apply for the related Kaplan Learning Integrated Coaching (KLIC) role, providing individualized guidance to students by email based on their progress through Kaplan materials.
Requirements
- MSN, or BSN with a master's degree.
- Current, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse.
- At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel; lead time, locations, and dates are determined by business needs and availability.

Responsibilities
- Teach multiple in-person NCLEX preparation sessions at various locations throughout the year.
- Maintain a high energy level and engage students to ensure an excellent student experience.
- Facilitate learning and learner development effectively.
- Learn Kaplan's methodology and strategies quickly.
- Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management.
- Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and ongoing instructional meetings as required.
