About The Position

Exploration and critical analysis of policies and intervention practices that have affected Indigenous peoples. Study of the responses that can be provided to the situation of Indigenous people through self-determination movements and intervention methods created within communities.

Requirements

  • Master's or doctorate in social work or a related discipline, or a university degree in social work or a related discipline combined with relevant experience and knowledge for the course.
  • Knowledge of intervention research processes with Indigenous communities.
  • Good knowledge of the diverse realities of Indigenous environments, as well as the policies and programs intended for them.

Nice To Haves

  • University teaching experience is an asset.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
