The University of Ottawa is seeking a Regular Part-Time Professor for the course POL3771, Analyse quantitative en science politique, during the Winter 2027 semester. The course will cover epistemology and logic of quantitative analysis, descriptive statistics, data collection, measurement scales, central tendency and dispersion measures, probability, sampling techniques, and practical application of elementary analysis techniques using data processing software (association measures, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, bivariate and multivariate analysis methods, and correlation). Multi-method approaches will also be discussed. The course is expected to have an enrollment of 52 students and is worth 3 credits. The course will be offered online in a programmed and synchronous format with live instruction. The University provides training for online course delivery. The teaching mode may change due to health reasons or other factors.
