About The Position
This position is for a Part-Time Professor to teach DVM3550 Méthodes et techniques de recherche qualitatives axées sur le travail de terrain en dévelop. intern. (3 credits) during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course focuses on methodological questions specific to research in developing regions, examining qualitative aspects of data analysis and collection with an emphasis on participatory research methods and exploring the implications of research within a power structure context. The course will be delivered in person and is a lecture-based course. It has a prerequisite of SCS 2550. The course schedule is Mondays from 16:00-17:20 and Wednesdays from 14:30-15:50. This course is part of the Experiential Learning program (RAEA), with a minimum of 60% of the student's final grade attributed to experiential learning activities.
Requirements
- Completed or in the process of completing a Doctorate in International Development or a related field.
- Submission of a course outline (minimum two pages) indicating how the course expectations will be met.
