About The Position

This seminar allows students completing an intensive specialized program to grasp the field of public administration in an integrated and comprehensive manner. It covers the main theories and contributions that have marked the development of public administration analysis, particularly in Canada. The course will be offered in person, but the teaching mode may change due to health reasons or other circumstances. Requirements

  • Doctorate or doctoral coursework in the field of the announced course.
  • Teaching experience in the field.
  • This course is posted for PhD students.
  • Clearly indicate skills and qualifications in the CV.
  • Applicants who have never taught at the University of Ottawa should submit information describing their previous teaching experiences or training (Article 10.9.2) in their CV or supplementary documents.
  • Competence in a second language (French/English).

  • A letter of intent demonstrating strong knowledge of the course subject matter will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Teach the course PAP4765: Séminaire synthèse en administration publique.
  • Provide instruction in French.
  • Potentially adapt teaching methods based on health or other reasons.
  • Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
