About The Position

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating the performance improvement (PI) program for the Division of Trauma. The coordinator ensures maintenance of compliance with all regulatory agency requirements, including those from the American College of Surgeons, Committee on Trauma, and the NJ Department of Health and Senior Service. Additionally, the position assists trauma leadership in identifying and addressing actual or potential system, process, and product issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of New Jersey required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive nursing experience, including recent experience in performance improvement and quality assurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency with computers and related systems

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a health‑related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and evaluate the Trauma Performance Improvement (PI) program
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with ACS‑COT and NJDOH regulatory standards
  • Partner with trauma leadership to identify and address system and process improvement opportunities
