About The Position

Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-service-driven Villa Transportation Driver to serve as an ambassador for the resort and the Sanctuary Hotel. Drivers anticipate guest needs, acknowledge requests, and consistently strive to exceed guest expectations while transporting guests and handling deliveries. This position must be performed on site. Full-time employees may access specified insurance coverage and vacation pay after 60 days of employment; 401(k) is available after 30 days. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, and employment is at will.

Requirements

• Be comfortable driving vehicles ranging from 10- to 14-passenger Sprinter vans.
• Effectively and efficiently communicate over a two-way radio.
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have good to excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds over short-to-medium distances.
• Be able to work on site.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to Kiawah Island and wish them safe travels upon departure.
• Transport resort guests to locations including The Sanctuary Hotel, championship golf courses, the tennis center, resort pools, and restaurants while providing excellent guest service.
• Carry baggage to and from guest villas and homes and help guests become familiar with their accommodations as needed.
• Deliver amenities, golf bags, luggage, and other items as needed.
• Inspect the van before each shift for safety concerns and cleanliness inside and out.
• Uphold the resort’s core values, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
