Transportation Shuttle Driver
About The Position
Kiawah Island Golf Resort is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-service-driven Villa Transportation Driver to serve as an ambassador for the resort and the 5-star/5-diamond Sanctuary Hotel. The driver anticipates guest needs, acknowledges requests, and consistently strives to exceed guest expectations. The position transports resort guests to destinations across the property, assists with luggage and other deliveries, and helps guests become familiar with their accommodations. Drivers inspect their vehicle before each shift and uphold resort values, policies, and procedures. This role must be performed onsite.
Requirements
- Comfortable driving vehicles ranging from 10- to 14-passenger Sprinter vans.
- Able to communicate effectively and efficiently over a two-way radio.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good to excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds across short-to-medium distances.
- Able to work onsite due to the daily needs of the job.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to Kiawah Island and wish them safe travels upon departure.
- Transport resort guests to the Sanctuary Hotel, championship golf courses, tennis center, resort pools, restaurants, and other locations while providing excellent guest service.
- Carry baggage to and from guest villas and homes and help guests acclimate to their accommodations as needed.
- Deliver amenities, golf bags, luggage, and other items as needed.
- Inspect the van before each shift for safety concerns and cleanliness inside and out.
- Uphold the resort’s core values, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
