About The Position

Exol is seeking a Transportation Senior Analyst to coordinate and manage daily Parcel and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) transportation activities across its fulfillment network, while supporting Retail Consolidation operations as business needs evolve. The role is an operational contact for carriers, fulfillment teams, customers, and other stakeholders, ensuring shipments are processed, executed, tracked, and delivered according to customer requirements and service commitments. The Analyst uses Manhattan TMS, carrier platforms, and related operating systems to manage shipment execution, monitor carrier performance, resolve delivery exceptions, and support transportation cost control. The role also supports transportation execution across the Retail Consolidation network, including shipment planning, carrier coordination, and exception management. The position is based in Tampa, Florida, and may require up to 25% travel to client and other customer locations. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive and/or fly to those locations. The employee is responsible for managing travel expenses personally and is reimbursed bi-weekly. Exol provides outsourced warehousing operations and automated warehousing solutions, focusing on moving goods in cases and pallets across wholesale, retail, and general merchandising sectors. It is an independently managed joint venture between Symbotic and SoftBank.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
At least 5 years of experience in transportation planning, load optimization, routing, dispatch, or logistics operations.
Working knowledge of FTL and LTL transportation, tendering, capacity management, pickup and delivery execution, and carrier service requirements.
Experience using Transportation Management Systems; Manhattan Active TM is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with carrier scorecards, operational data, and performance metrics.
Experience managing multi-origin, multi-stop routing and freight consolidation activities.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting retailer consolidation, cross-dock, multi-stop, or appointment-driven transportation operations.
Hands-on experience with Manhattan TMS or another enterprise TMS and familiarity with EDI/API-enabled carrier workflows.
Experience with carrier scorecards, service reviews, corrective-action plans, and transportation compliance tools.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily Parcel and LTL transportation activities, including shipment processing, carrier selection, rate shopping, tendering, pickup coordination, and delivery follow-up.
Serve as a primary operational contact for Parcel and LTL carriers; manage pickup and delivery issues, monitor service performance, and ensure carrier execution meets transportation requirements.
Monitor shipment status, transit performance, delivery exceptions, and Proof of Delivery; coordinate recovery actions for delayed, lost, or damaged shipments and communicate with customers and internal teams.
Support Retail Consolidation transportation activities as needed, including shipment planning, carrier coordination, pickup and delivery appointments, execution monitoring, and exception resolution with dedicated transportation teams.
Maintain accurate shipment and transportation data across TMS and carrier platforms; review freight charges and accessorials, identify billing discrepancies, and support freight audit and claims resolution.
Track transportation KPIs, analyze shipping costs and service trends, identify opportunities to improve carrier performance and transportation efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
