About The Position

Campers Inn RV is hiring a Transport Driver to transport towable and motorized RVs to various locations. The role involves safely moving RVs between Campers Inn stores, customer locations, and other sites; coordinating deliveries and pickups with dispatch; communicating with customers; and maintaining related paperwork. This is a safety-sensitive role, and some travel outside the Jacksonville, Florida area may be required. Duties may be expanded as management deems necessary, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to drive the company vehicle.
• Ability to perform standardized safety checks.
• Ability to operate towing equipment.
• Ability to use basic tools.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and sit for long periods.
• Ability to reach above the shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• At least two years of towing or transport experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle to transport RVs to and from Campers Inn stores, customer locations, or other sites as needed.
• Communicate with dispatch to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain paperwork related to pickups and drop-offs.
