Applicants must hold the license required for assigned vehicles and meet applicable driver qualification and safety requirements. Depending on the assignment, the qualification process may include review of driving and employment history, DOT medical certification, and a driving skills evaluation. CDL-required work also involves applicable DOT drug and alcohol testing and an FMCSA Clearinghouse review. Required medical inquiries and examinations occur after a conditional offer. Any offer is contingent on satisfying applicable requirements, and drivers must receive written compliance clearance before beginning DOT-regulated driving or other covered safety-sensitive duties. Required qualifications must be maintained throughout employment. Compensation follows the current approved Transport Driver payroll agreement and may include mileage or flat trip pay, hourly pay for specified duties, and approved travel expenses. The applicable compensation plan will be reviewed before hire. Assignments depend on business demand and do not guarantee a fixed number of hours or trips.
