About The Position

Transport Driver safely transports and delivers oil and lubricants to customers in a professional, safe, efficient, timely, and legal manner. The role includes securing products and job tools with approved methods, loading and unloading the truck, verifying customer orders, and providing excellent customer service. Drivers report problems promptly and accurately to their supervisor and follow up to ensure resolution.

The position requires a Class A license, ability to drive a manual transmission, a Hazmat endorsement, and at least one year of commercial driving experience. The driver must be available to work weekends, have a clean Commercial abstract in good standing and a proven record of safe driving, and be comfortable with the physical demands of lifting at least 60 pounds. Safety is emphasized through Sunoco’s “Drive to Zero” campaign, which seeks to reduce injuries and incidents and help employees get home safely.

Requirements

• Class A license.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Positive attitude and strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.
• Comfortable with the physical nature of the job and able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds.
• Clean Commercial abstract in good standing.
• Proven track record of safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver oil and lubricants to customers in a professional, safe, efficient, timely, and legal manner.
• Secure products and essential job tools using approved methods, such as tie downs and straps.
• Load and unload the truck, including frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of products and applicable tools.
• Ensure customer orders are correct.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Report problems to the supervisor in a timely and accurate manner and follow up to ensure resolution.
