About The Position

Raintree Village is seeking a dedicated Transport Driver to provide safe transportation for residents of its senior living community. The driver takes residents to and from appointments and waits for them during appointments. The role also involves assisting residents on and off the vehicle, including pushing wheelchairs when necessary, and supporting the community’s commitment to residents’ quality of care and quality of life. The position is full-time and located at Raintree Village in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Requirements

• Have a clean driving record.
• Be able to safely operate an oversized van with a wheelchair lift.
• May be required to obtain a commercial driver’s license or chauffeur’s license, depending on local or state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to and from appointments and wait for them during appointments.
• Assist residents on and off the vehicle, including pushing wheelchairs when necessary.
• Follow and uphold the Community’s philosophy and goals for maintaining, improving, and enhancing residents’ quality of care and quality of life.
• Follow and uphold Community policies and procedures.
• Attend and participate in facility meetings and assigned in-service training programs.
• Observe residents’ rights, including privacy and dignity.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members, and guests.
• Assist in coordinating schedules and daily appointments.
• Complete other assignments, including tasks assigned to other departments.
