About The Position

The Transport Driver safely transports and delivers oil and lubricants to customers in a professional, efficient, timely, and legal manner. The role includes securing products and required tools using approved methods, loading and unloading the truck, verifying customer orders, and providing excellent customer service. Drivers report problems to their supervisor promptly and accurately and follow up to ensure resolution. Safety is a central priority, supported by Sunoco’s “Drive to Zero” campaign to reduce injuries and incidents.

Requirements

• Class A license.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Hazmat endorsement.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Positive attitude and strong focus on exceptional customer service.
• Comfort with the physical nature of the job and ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
• Clean commercial abstract in good standing.
• Proven track record of safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver oil and lubricants to customers in a professional, safe, efficient, timely, and legal manner.
• Secure products and other required tools using approved methods, such as tie-downs and straps.
• Load and unload the truck, including frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of products and applicable tools.
• Ensure customer orders are correct.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Report problems to the supervisor in a timely and accurate manner and follow up to ensure resolution.
