About The Position

The Training Specialist supports Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health PA Adult Services by planning and implementing staff training programs, providing learning support to new and current employees, and helping staff meet required training standards. The role works with supervisors and key personnel to track training and support organizational, regulatory, and licensing compliance. It also provides consultation to program directors, department heads, and other supervisors on staff-training matters. The position is based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, and serves programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Education, or a related field.
• At least one year of previous experience conducting staff training and development.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience conducting staff training and development in human services or health care.
• Instructor certification in First Aid, CPR, Crisis Prevention/Intervention, New Directions, or QPR.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing training programs designed to improve staff job performance and required skills.
• Provide learning and training support for new and current staff.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and key personnel to ensure staff meet training requirements.
• Track staff training to ensure organizational, regulatory, and licensing compliance.
• Provide consultation and support to program directors, department heads, and other supervisors on staff-training matters.
