About The Position

San Diego State University is seeking a Training Program Analyst to shape the learning experiences that support business and financial operations across campus. In this role, you'll collaborate with campus partners to develop engaging training programs, improve business processes, and help the University successfully implement new systems and initiatives. As a key member of the Audit & Continuous Improvement team, you'll support enterprise-wide training, organizational readiness, knowledge management, and change management efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to combine creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement while helping the SDSU community build confidence with new technologies and business processes.

Requirements

  • General knowledge and skills in the applicable administrative and/or program field with a foundational knowledge of public administration principles, practices, and methods.
  • Experience with organizational change management and enterprise system implementations.
  • Experience developing training programs, instructional materials, and business process documentation.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enterprise business systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, CSUBUY/Jaggaer, Concur, CHRS, or similar ERP systems).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting enterprise system implementations and organizational change initiatives.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs in a higher education or public sector environment.
  • Experience with CSU financial or human resource systems, including PeopleSoft CFS, CSUBUY (Jaggaer), Concur, Campus Solutions, or CHRS.
  • Experience with business process improvement and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and coordinate enterprise training programs that support business systems, onboarding, and professional development.
  • Partner with campus stakeholders to support organizational readiness and successful implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Manage training initiatives by coordinating learning resources, business process documentation, and knowledge management efforts across campus.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness, gather stakeholder feedback, and recommend improvements that enhance learning and operational excellence.
