About The Position

Rite of Passage is hiring an on-site Trainer at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona. The Trainer ensures that staff are adequately trained and familiar with the Rite of Passage (ROP) policies required for their roles. The position keeps direct care and leadership staff informed and trained when policies change and oversees ROP policy training. The Trainer also audits staff records, processes, and deliverables to identify training needs and ensure compliance with ROP policies and guidance. The position reports to the Assistant Program Director or Program Manager, with additional supervision from the Regional Compliance Director depending on the CSA program.

Canyon State Academy is situated on a 180-acre campus with student housing and community facilities, including a thrift store, café, barbershop, church, weight room, football stadium, and athletic center. The posting highlights free daily meals, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to support at-risk youth.

The schedule is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• One year of related experience.
• Must hold instructor certifications in CPR/First Aid, PPC, Crisis Intervention Techniques, Suicide Prevention, Treatment Topics, Essential Subjects, and JIREH certification if required.
• Must be familiar with ROP procedures, policies, and program implementation.
• Must be able to pass criminal background clearance checks, a drug screen, a physical, and a TB test.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff are adequately trained and familiar with ROP policies necessary for their assigned roles.
• Keep direct care and leadership staff informed and trained as policy changes occur regarding ROP program execution.
• Oversee ROP policy training.
• Audit staff records, processes, and deliverables to identify training needs and ensure compliance with ROP policies and guidance.
