About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and skilled Evening Long-Term Care TMA to join a dedicated healthcare team. The role oversees resident care, administers medications, and leads shift staff during evening hours to help provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for long-term care residents. The position is listed as full-time/part-time, with a schedule of 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and a $3 shift differential. It requires working every other weekend and holiday.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical and compassionate care to long-term care and post-acute residents during the evening shift.
- Administer prescribed medications in compliance with safety protocols and state and federal regulations.
- Update nurses regarding resident vitals, condition changes, and other concerns during the shift.
- Guide, mentor, and support certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and junior care staff on duty.
- Work closely with physicians, family members, and interdisciplinary care teams.
