About The Position

U-Haul is hiring a Trailer/SRI Repair Specialist to maintain its fleet of trailers and Ford and GMC trucks. The role uses U-Haul proprietary technology to assess and care for field vehicles and includes hands-on repair work, sometimes on a production line. U-Haul provides job tools, on-the-job support, and access to technician training, including Ford, GM, and U-Haul classes. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship. The position is located at 3802 Ogeechee Rd, Savannah, Georgia 31405. Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• A driver’s license.
• Ability to work both as part of a team and individually.
• Basic computer skills.
• Regular attendance.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of repair experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure trailers on lifts and dollies.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Rebuild and repair braking systems and trailer components.
• Dismount, balance, and mount tires.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Work on a production line.
• Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection and repair checklists.
• Willingly assist in additional areas as necessary, following the supervisor’s directives and guidance.
