About The Position
Hotel Equities is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Trail Runner to support hotel operations and provide exceptional service to guests and associates. The role provides guest service and cleaning in cabins and common areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and washing walls, windows, and mirrors. The Trail Runner helps ensure guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay by preparing cabin interiors and staging outdoor spaces.
Requirements
- Good physical health and stamina.
- Flexibility to work in shifts.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to bend, lift, push, pull, carry, and move items weighing up to 25–50 pounds.
- Flexibility with workdays and hours, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Work experience as a Trail Runner or Houseman/Houseperson.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products.
- High school diploma.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cabin interiors for cleaning by removing trash, stripping linens, and restocking cabin provisions.
- Clean and stage cabin outdoor lounge areas, including the fire pit, campfire kit, Adirondack chairs, and picnic table.
- Clean cabin exteriors, including windows, hitch, and wheels, and remove trash.
- Respond appropriately to guest concerns, complaints, or suggestions and refer them to management when appropriate.
- Gather waste and/or contaminated materials for disposal when assigned.
- Clean assigned areas of the Outpost, which may include cabins, trails, and common areas.
- Use and maintain assigned equipment and supplies according to departmental specifications, including vacuums, chemicals, and cleaning aides.
