About The Position

Hotel Equities is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Trail Runner to support hotel operations and provide excellent guest service and cleaning in cabins and common areas. The role helps create a pleasant and comfortable stay for guests by cleaning cabin interiors and outdoor spaces, responding appropriately to guest concerns, and maintaining assigned equipment and supplies. This is suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, cleaning, paying close attention to detail, and working independently. The work involves continuous movement and regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving items weighing up to 25–50 pounds. Workdays and hours may vary, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Good physical health and stamina.
• Flexibility to work shifts, with flexibility for workdays and hours including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Regularly bend, lift, push, pull, carry, and move items weighing up to 25–50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Work experience as a Trail Runner or Houseman/Houseperson is encouraged but not required.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• High school diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cabin interiors for cleaning by removing trash, stripping linens, and restocking cabin provisions.
• Clean and stage cabin outdoor spaces, including lounge areas, fire pits, campfire kits, Adirondack chairs, and picnic tables.
• Clean cabin exteriors, including windows, hitches, and wheels, and remove trash.
• Respond appropriately to guest concerns, complaints, and suggestions, referring them to management as needed.
• Gather waste and/or contaminated materials for disposal when assigned.
• Clean assigned areas of the Outpost, which may include cabins, trails, and common areas.
• Properly use and maintain assigned equipment and supplies, including vacuums, chemicals, and cleaning aids.
