About The Position

The Traffic Coordinator coordinates shipping and logistics activities to help materials move efficiently and accurately and ensure products reach customers on time. The role works across the organization and with carriers to support production and customer orders, maintain shipment accuracy, resolve issues, and improve shipping efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving schedules to support production and customer orders.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with parcel, LTL, and truckload carriers.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and labels.
• Monitor shipments, communicate updates, and resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Partner with production, warehouse, customer service, and carriers to keep operations flowing.
• Verify shipment accuracy, including weights, counts, addresses, and special requirements.
• Support freight claims and investigations as needed.
• Manage packaging supply inventory and maintain organized shipping records.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce delays.
