About The Position

Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers, also called Crew Members, to help protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. The company provides traffic-control services across the eastern United States. Crew Members are dispatched from home to job sites and use appropriate equipment and communication to guide traffic safely. They assist Crew Leaders with setting up and maintaining work zones. This outdoor, team-oriented role offers hands-on experience and advancement opportunities, including a path to Crew Leader in as little as 30–90 days.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle; employees must drive themselves to and from job sites. Ride-sharing and drop-offs are not permitted.
• Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle-driving requirements, verified through a Motor Vehicle Record review.
• Availability Monday through Friday, with work beginning as early as 6 a.m. and continuing into the late afternoon.
• Ability to stand for 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles per day, lift up to 30–50 pounds, and work outdoors in varied conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
• Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6 inches high.
• Use approved two-way radios.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic-control work zones.
• Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients.
• Work with the team to support safety and efficiency at job sites.
• Assist Crew Leaders with work-zone setup and maintenance.
• Use appropriate equipment and communication to guide traffic safely.
