About The Position

Flagger Force is hiring Traffic Control Flaggers (Crew Members) to help protect workers, drivers, and pedestrians in active work zones. The company provides traffic control services across the eastern United States. Crew Members are dispatched directly from home to job sites and work alongside Crew Leaders to set up and maintain safe work zones. This outdoor, team-based role involves guiding traffic using appropriate equipment and communication. It offers hands-on experience in the traffic control industry, with opportunities to advance into leadership and other roles. The listed pay range is $17.50–$19.50 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle; employees must drive themselves to and from job sites, as ride-sharing and drop-offs are not permitted.
Satisfactory driving record that meets company vehicle driving requirements, verified through a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
Availability Monday through Friday, as early as 6 a.m. through late afternoon.
Ability to stand for 8–12 hours, walk 1–2 miles per day, lift up to 30–50 pounds, and work outdoors in various conditions.
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability.
Obtain steel-toe or composite-toe boots that lace above the ankles and are at least 6 inches in height.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain safe temporary traffic control work zones.
Control traffic flow to protect motorists, pedestrians, and clients.
Work as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites.
Assist Crew Leaders in setting up and maintaining work zones.
