The TOPS Community Manager Specialist is a floating leadership role within Asset Living’s internal talent agency (TOPS). The role provides short-term, 1–90 day, on-site operational leadership to communities experiencing staffing transitions, vacancies, new acquisitions, performance needs, or stabilization efforts. It mirrors the responsibilities of a standard Community Manager while providing rapid-deployment support, stabilizing site operations, and ensuring compliance with Asset Living’s policies, procedures, and service standards. The specialist must be adaptable, quickly assess operational gaps, and step into leadership roles with little transition time. Assignments may involve multifamily, affordable, build-to-rent, active adult, or student housing communities. Travel is required to fulfill assignments and responsibilities, including supporting property operations, attending training sessions, participating in conferences, and other business activities. Assignments are based on business needs and may require travel within or outside the employee’s home state, including flights and overnight stays. This is a safety-sensitive position and may be subject to additional compliance requirements. The job description is a guide rather than an all-inclusive or permanent list of duties; additional responsibilities may be assigned at any time.
