About The Position

As a member of the Guest Arrival team at Busch Gardens, the Toll Plaza Ambassador helps create a smooth, welcoming arrival experience for guests. The role involves greeting guests, verifying or processing parking for park entry, processing transactions, helping traffic flow efficiently, and providing friendly service. Ambassadors may also work in other areas of the Guest Arrival team as needed. The position is part-time and requires a flexible schedule based on business needs, including opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

At least 16 years of age.
Passion for customer service.
Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
Active listening skills and ability to anticipate guests’ needs.
Ability to work with a team to promote and ensure a safe and secure environment.
Basic computer skills with Windows/Microsoft programs.
Flexibility to perform varied duties.
Ability to process monetary transactions and accurately use a register.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform extensive walking and standing throughout the entire work shift.
Ability to kneel, squat, bend from floor to waist and waist to overhead, reach overhead, and perform simple grasping and fine hand manipulation tasks, including use of tools, keyboard, and writing.
Willingness to comply with SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather, including extreme heat, and in environments that may involve fumes, dust, odors, loud noises, vibrations, motion, and temperature extremes.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet guests at the Toll Plaza and efficiently verify or process parking for park entry.
Process transactions in a fast and friendly manner.
Follow all point-of-sale policies and procedures.
Work with the team to increase productivity while providing excellent guest service.
Practice safe work habits, including using personal protective equipment and reporting unsafe situations.
Work in other areas of the Guest Arrival team as needed.
Perform cleaning duties, including using cleaning chemicals.
