About The Position
Learn And Play Schools is seeking a Toddler Teacher for its Pleasant Hill campus. The teacher creates a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom where children can learn, play, and grow. The school uses an individualized, play-based, STEM-integrated curriculum to nurture children’s social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development. Teachers build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues and partner with the school community to support its success.
Requirements
- 12 core ECE units and completion of an infant/toddler course.
- Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
- Willingness to change diapers.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to work within regular operating hours.
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
- Partner with parents to provide care and education for their children.
- Partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, growth, and engagement.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
- Implement the play-based, STEM-focused curriculum, tailoring it to each child’s growth and learning journey.
