About The Position

Cadence Education is seeking a Lead Teacher for its 2-year-old classroom in Chapin, South Carolina. The teacher helps create a joyful, nurturing, and engaging learning environment, supports children’s growth and development, and works collaboratively with educators and families. The role follows Cadence Education’s philosophy and uses age-appropriate activities and curriculum to support children’s interests, learning, safety, and social development.

Responsibilities

• Support Cadence Education’s philosophy and help foster a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Document children’s daily milestones and share them with parents.
• Collaborate with educators to deliver a lively, age-appropriate curriculum that sparks curiosity.
• Follow children’s interests, keep them safe, and extend their play through language, toys, and activities.
• Model and encourage age-appropriate social behaviors.
• Contribute ideas for a balanced daily schedule with quiet and active periods, indoor and outdoor activities, and fine and gross motor opportunities.
