About The Position
Learn And Play Schools is hiring a Preschool Teacher at its Pleasant Hill campus. The school offers an individualized, STEM-integrated curriculum that supports children’s social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development. Teachers create meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues and help foster a safe, nurturing classroom where children can learn, play, and grow.
Requirements
- 12 core ECE units and completion of an infant/toddler course.
- Child Care Developmental Associate (CDA) Credential.
- Willingness to change diapers.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to work within regular operating hours.
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and play.
- Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
- Partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals related to enrollment, accreditation, growth, and engagement.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
- Implement the play-based, STEM-focused curriculum, tailoring it to each child’s individual growth and learning journey.
