About The Position

The Toddler Certified Montessori Guide leads a classroom and provides an authentic Montessori experience that encourages children to be innovative and independent. The guide implements the Montessori curriculum, facilitates engaging interactive learning experiences, follows licensing guidelines and school and company standards to ensure children’s daily care, observes and assesses children, plans for their learning, communicates with families, and completes ongoing professional development in Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Hold credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program.
• Meet state education requirements; additional school requirements may apply.
• Have experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Montessori educator training from a MACTE-accredited program is preferred.
• Previous lead teacher experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Montessori curriculum and facilitate engaging, interactive learning experiences.

• Observe and assess children and plan for their learning.
