About The Position

The Primary Montessori Guide leads a classroom and delivers an authentic Montessori experience that encourages children to be innovative and independent. The role implements the Montessori curriculum and facilitates engaging, interactive learning experiences. The Guide follows licensing guidelines and school and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child; observes and assesses children, plans for their learning, and communicates effectively with families; and completes ongoing professional development in Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development. Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program.
• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field.
• Meet state education requirements; additional school requirements may apply.

Nice To Haves

• Montessori educator credentials from a MACTE-accredited training program are preferred.
• Previous lead teacher experience is preferred.
