About The Position

A Montessori Certified Guide leads a classroom and delivers an authentic Montessori experience, encouraging children to be innovative and independent. The role implements the Montessori curriculum and facilitates engaging, interactive learning experiences. The Guide follows licensing guidelines and school and company standards to ensure children receive daily care. The role also involves observing and assessing children, planning for their development, communicating with families, and completing ongoing professional development in Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program.
• Meet state education requirements; additional school requirements may apply.
• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field is preferred.
• Previous lead teacher experience is preferred.
• Montessori training program accreditation through MACTE is preferred.
