About The Position

Certified Montessori Guides are trained to provide an authentic Montessori experience that encourages children to be innovative and independent. The role involves implementing the Montessori curriculum, facilitating engaging and interactive learning, following licensing guidelines and school and company standards, observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, communicating with families, and completing ongoing professional development in Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program; MACTE accreditation is preferred.
• Meet state education requirements; additional school requirements may apply.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field.
• Previous lead teacher experience.
• Credentials from a MACTE-accredited training program.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Montessori curriculum and facilitate engaging, interactive learning experiences.
• Follow all licensing guidelines and school and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Observe and assess children, plan for their needs, and communicate effectively with families.
