About The Position

The Primary Montessori Guide leads a classroom and delivers an authentic Montessori experience, encouraging children to be innovative and independent. The role involves implementing the Montessori curriculum and facilitating engaging, interactive learning experiences; following licensing guidelines and school and company standards to ensure children’s daily care; observing, assessing, and planning for children; communicating effectively with families; and completing ongoing professional development in Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have credentials as a Montessori educator from an accredited training program.
• Meet state education requirements; additional school requirements may apply.

Nice To Haves

• Montessori educator credentials from a MACTE-accredited training program are preferred.
• Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field is preferred.
• Previous lead teacher experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
