Toddler Assistant Teacher
About The Position
The Malvern School is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher for the Toddler classroom at its Malvern school. The position is Monday through Friday. The teacher helps plan, supervise, and implement an early childhood education program in accordance with school policies and the school’s philosophy. They maintain a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment and communicate regularly with parents, in person and through technology, to meet or exceed parent expectations. Its curriculum is designed to meet or exceed National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards. Requirements
- Meet one of the listed education and experience pathways: a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services; a bachelor’s degree with 30 relevant credit hours and one year of experience with children; an associate’s degree in one of those fields and two years of experience with children; or an associate’s degree with 30 relevant credit hours and three years of experience with children.
