Assistant Toddler Teacher
About The Position
The Malvern School is seeking a motivated, career-oriented Assistant Teacher for the Toddler classroom at its Freehold school. This full-time role supports the implementation of the school’s Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and its educational philosophy. The teacher helps maintain a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment and communicates regularly with parents, both in person and through technology, to meet or exceed their expectations. The Malvern School offers a child-centered educational approach, clean and attractive facilities, teamwork, and a professional atmosphere. Its curriculum is designed to meet or exceed National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) standards. Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have at least 2,500 documented hours of experience with young children in a licensed facility, or have 15 relevant college credits (or a CDA) and at least 1,250 documented hours of experience with young children in a licensed facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing the Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
- Communicate regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
