About The Position

Village Motors Colorado is seeking an experienced Title Registration Clerk to join its accounting team. The role supports new and used vehicle sales by preparing and submitting title and tax documents, ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements, processing lien payoffs, maintaining title records, coordinating with the DMV, and tracking pending titles. Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of experience in automotive titling or a high-volume administrative role.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with dealership management systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or Dealertrack.
• Exceptional data-entry accuracy and attention to errors in legal documents.
• Ability to troubleshoot titling issues, including out-of-state registrations and power of attorney forms.
• Familiarity with state-specific motor vehicle laws and tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit tax and title documents for new and used vehicle sales.
• Verify paperwork for accurate signatures, VIN numbers, and required disclosures to meet state and federal regulations.
• Process trade-in payoffs and coordinate with financial institutions to obtain titles.
• Maintain an organized filing system for vehicle titles and deal jackets.
• Liaise with the DMV to resolve titling issues or delays.
• Track pending titles and provide regular updates to management and finance teams.
